Miley Cyrus’ parents are filing for divorce after 17 years of marriage. “Achy Breaky Heart” hitmaker Billy Ray Cyrus cites irreconcilable differences as reason for his split from Tish Cyrus Wednesday.
According to the papers obtained by TMZ, Billy Ray made the first move in the divorce. He listed the date of separation as the same date as the filing of divorce.
Billy Ray wants shared custody of their three minor children, which includes the “Hannah Montana” star.
The Cyruses said in a statement, “As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family. We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers.”
The couple married in December 1992. Aside from their three kids, they also raise three other children. Billy Ray adopted stepchildren Trace and Brandi from Tish’s previous marriage. He also has another son from a previous relationship.

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Conan O’Brien says he plans to bring some of the staple characters and segments from his NBC show over to TBS - whether the peacock likes it or not. (via Huffington Post)
“If there’s something we did for a long time that we’ve established as ours, we’ll figure out a way to do it,” the comedian is reported to have told Rolling Stone for a new profile (excerpts can be found here). That would include such staple characters as Triumph the Insult Comic Dog and, of course, the Masturbating Bear. (Big screen comedy: See a photo history of Saturday Night Live movies)
Late night fans will remember the bad blood that marked David Letterman’s move from NBC to CBS in the 1990s, when NBC refused to allow Letterman’s new network to show any old Late Night clips. Letterman often poked fun at the legal scuffle, often setting up clips of his previous late-night skits only to cut to a black screen with white letters, identifying the footage as NBC’s property.
The same situation appeared to be in place for Team Coco, which opens up shop at TBS on Nov. 8. Way back in January, the Hollywood Reporter noted that all trademarked characters — and skits (“In The Year 3000”) — would not make the move to basic cable. But in his new Rolling Stone interview, Conan rejects that possibility outright: “I won’t be denied my Masturbating Bear!”
Variety has reported that NBC might be willing to let Conan keep some of his Tonight Show and Late Night bits. But even if they aren’t, Conan seems to be signaling that he’ll eagerly push the issue, daring his old network — which didn’t exactly come off looking rosy after the whole Leno-O’Brien debacle earlier this year — to file legal motions.
“What I really wanna do is be sued over the bear and then appear in court with the Masturbating Bear… Your Honor, this bear can’t help himself!’”

Troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to spend the next three months in rehab and is said to be worried about coming up with the $125,000 bill.
But there might be a solution for her financial woes, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Adult website Tube8.com has offered the Hollywood wild child a job that they said would “cover the anticipated $50,000 fee for Ms. Lohan’s rehabilitation at the Betty Ford Clinic.”
The site has offered her a marketing consultant job and — in an added bonus — will give her unlimited access to their porn collection.
However, as RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Lohan’s rehab stint is now expected to cost up to $150,000.
And so cash strapped is the Mean Girls star she is not sure how she is going to pay for the court ordered rehab.
“She literally has no idea how she is going to come up with the money,” a source exclusively told RadarOnline.com.
Since she is slated to play porn icon Linda Lovelace in her upcoming biopic Inferno, she’ll be able to research her role on the site.
Tube8.com said they want Lindsay to provide “insights into the further mainstreaming of pornography.”

Dr. Drew has added his two cents on the Charlie Sheen situation, and his words might shock you!
Dr. Drew thinks Sheen’s addiction is worse than anyone really knows, and that he needs treatment ASAP. “I’m afraid Charlie is going to die. This is just the tip of the iceberg with him,” he told RadarOnline.com.
“This truly scares me. I’m saddened and scared for Charlie. Charlie is deeply in his condition.”
Dr. Drew went on to say that going back to work on Two and a Half Men was probably the worst thing Sheen could have done. I’m really sad and surprised that Charlie Sheen went back to work as soon as he did last year. Work is the last thing he needs right now,” Pinsky said.
“Charlie needs least three months of in-patient treatment. His addiction is far worse than anyone knows or realizes.”
The doctor said Sheen probably felt the pressure to return to work since he’s on a top show and is the highest-paid TV actor. “I’m sure Charlie is saying it’s okay that he is going back to work. He is feeling the pressure of being on a number one rated television show, and he is minimizing how bad things are,” Dr. Drew explained. “It’s a very risky maneuver for him to go back to work, and that situation is going to get a lot worse very quickly.”
Scary! We did hear a rumor Sheen might enter an outpatient program secretly…so we hope he actually does it!

Well, that was certainly unexpected. In a twist that seemed to come from nowhere, former “The Hills” star Audrina Patridge was eliminated from Tuesday night’s (October 26) episode of “Dancing With the Stars.” Though she has been struggling all season long with infusing her technically sharp moves with energy and personality, it seemed as though her technique would carry her through at least a few more weeks. But clearly the viewing audience decided that they had seen enough, and despite the fact that several contestants had lower scores (including former Super Bowl MVP Kurt Warner and former accidental political talking point Bristol Palin), Patridge was shown the door.
Apparently, the show narrowly missed what would have been a truly staggering upset, as judges’ favorite and front-runner Jennifer Grey was also declared to be in danger of elimination on Tuesday night’s show. Though her momentum has cooled a bit in the past two weeks, Grey remains the most elite competitor on the show this season, and with the fundamentally sound Patridge out, it is now a two horse race between Grey and Brandy for the grand prize. (As an aside: As a competitor who has solid technical skills but lacked flair, isn’t Audrina sort of like the Chuck Knoblauch of “Dancing With the Stars”?)
With the twist of Patridge’s exit and the uncertainty of Grey’s status, Tuesday night’s results show was lively and tense, so the addition of the musical guests was (for once) a welcome respite and not just a way to fill time. Kylie Minogue brought an incredible amount of heat to the stage, and the cameos by rock legends (including Brett Michaels and Alice Cooper) were refreshing and fun. But now that the entire MTV contingent is gone (Patridge follows “Jersey Shore” star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, who was eliminated two weeks ago), the favorite around the MTV Newsroom is now Brandy, if only because everybody here still knows all the words to “I Wanna Be Down.”

Rapper T.I. is going to have lots of time to work on new material—from behind bars at his new temporary home, Forrest City federal prison in Arkansas. T.I. was ordered today to report to prison no later than November 1. The hip-hop star (real name: Clifford Harris Jr.) must turn himself into authorities by the beginning of next month to begin serving an 11-month sentence for parole violation.
According to W.E.N.N., U.S. Marshal Beverly Howard made a ruling today ordering hip-hop star T.I. to report at Forrest City to start his jail time. It’s familiar territory for T.I.—he served six months at the same federal prison last year after being convicted on weapons charges. This new incarceration comes as a result of drug charges T.I. picked up in Los Angeles last month. LAPD later dropped the case, but the arrest was violation of T.I.’s parole—so he’s headed back for round two.
Will this next stretch of jail time be enough to scare the troubled rap star straight? T.I. has a great career to focus on and a lifestyle to maintain. If he cleans up his act, he’ll have a golden hip-hop life ahead of him. But another bad turn will leave T.I. in serious hot water with the law. With lots of time in his cell to think about it I(and rap) about it, maybe T.I. will come out on top after his sentence is served—with another hit album to show for it!

Justin Bieber, who is known for his trademark hairstyle, is considering shaving his hair off as part of an image overhaul for his next album.
The ‘Baby’ singer has donned the style since he began his career as a musician, and even sported the look during his appearance in the hit show CSI but it looks as though the 16-year-old is getting fed up with the style.
Bieber said: “I’ve cut this style different ways, but I was thinking about shaving it off or changing it… But I know now isn’t the right time. Maybe by my next album.”

We’re told Charlie’s alcohol-fueled rampage began at a restaurant called Daniel, near the Plaza Hotel where Charlie was staying. He, three other men and five women had an 8:00 PM reservation Tuesday night and Charlie was drinking heavily. Denise Richards, we’re told, went to the dinner but left fairly quickly after things got wild.
Charlie brought one of the women back to his hotel room and soon thereafter people on his floor heard what they say was primal screaming and swearing from inside the room. Charlie was calling the woman a whore and other names, when people started to complain.
We’re told Charlie ripped the curtains, overturned tables, damaged a lighting fixture and broke glass, which cut his toe open.
All in all … a real mess.

Justin Bieber surely has a lot to come. After announcing his plans to release an unplugged album on November 23 and biopic “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never” in February 2011, the “Baby” hitmaker will also launch a new fragrance which is scheduled to hit Wal-Mart stores on Black Friday, November 26, Women’s Wear Daily reported. Though so, the unisex fragrance won’t be bottled as the scent will be infused in wristbands and dog tags. The scent, which is called after his tour My World, is embedded into the accessories through a patented resin technology and it would last up to one year. The collection features four designs - Icon, Energy, Tour and Web. For My World collection, Bieber teams up with newly formed company Etoile Nation Beauty. He told the site that he has been involved in developing the scent, saying “They actually brought me a bunch of stuff to smell today. One of them smelled too young, too fruity. One was really good.” Asked about what kind of smell he likes from a girl, the YouTube sensation revealed, “I actually like the Britney Spears perfume on girls. As Robert Pattinson is slowly inching to get another career in music, the Twilight star decided to go against the tide and snub the tempting deal from music mogul Simon Cowell. R-Pattz knows music too well as he plays guitar and piano. He explained his decline on the ex-American Idol judge’s offer as that he would not be suited for his roster of talents.
Robert Pattinson elaborated that he loves Simon Cowell and he respects him so much because “he’s a clever guy”. However, Rob suggested that: “I don’t think he could ever launch my music career”. Robert admits that he’s “selfish” with his musical talent and doesn’t think many people would like his music. Is he just being too humble?

According to People magazine, Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal turned up together to watch Taylor’s best friend Emma Stone host Saturday Night Live on Saturday, October 23.
“They showed up together,” a source told People. “They walked around together backstage, but they were careful not to be seen too close. It was hard to tell if they were together, but everyone was shocked that she brought him.”
Further, Life & Style magazine reports that Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal lunched together on the next day in Brooklyn neighborhood Park Slope and the duo were reportedly holding hands and “looked like a couple”.

Playgirl has Glee stars Mark Salling and Chord Overstreet in their sights, say reports.
Days after co-stars Lea Michele and Dianna Argon did a scantily clad shoot for GQ, reports have emerged that the ladies magazine is keen for Salling and Overstreet to do a spread of their own.
The stars could reportedly earn six figures for the gig, without even having to strip off.
“We would definitely want him. We would be very willing to pay for them both — up to one-hundred thousand. And it wouldn’t have to be fully X-rated, either,” a representative for Playgirl told E Online.
Salling offered his thoughts on the proposal, joking: ‘Wow … really? A 100 thousand to keep my clothes on? I’ll only do it if I can take my clothes off.’

Could teen pop sensation Justin Bieber be a male Britney Spears in the making? While the 16-year-old has yet to showcase any addiction problems — like those that have plagued other young stars like Spears and Lindsay Lohan — the singer does have some big issues that are concerning Camp Bieber.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police launched an investigation into charges brought by a 12-year-old boy’s father. Nothing came of it when it was determined the other boy was not injured but only bumped while Bieber attempted to flee a bunch of overzealous fans.
• Now, the privacy-obsessed Bieber has said he is not satisfied with merely flying NetJets (he purchased time shares on private planes). “Even that isn’t private enough for Justin. He hates it when other NetJets people approach him at the terminal and ask for autographs or photos. … He now is shopping for his own private plane — likely a G-4,” the source said.
